Beauty industry-specific software, for use by creatives within the beauty industry, seems simple right? But it's not commonly found. Until now.

Stā Studios simply integrates with your account, it doesn't own it. This means your data, your clients and its features are in your control, totally. Got session work, or work away from Stā? Use the system to generate a payment link to attach to your invoice for a fast, professional and efficient feel. Even if you left Stā Studios, you have the option to take your account with you, ensuring a seamless transition for your clients.

Whatever you want, it's not our business, it's yours. Stā Studios reflect you, your work-life balance and your desire for autonomy. Once activated, you have total freedom to offer the services you want, at the price you want and in the time duration you want. Because it's your system, you can modify services, prices and timings as you wish.

We thought long and hard about payment methods, but ultimately, there's no one best way for everyone. What is important is that we offer choices; you can integrate with Stā Studios' system for direct payment using Stripe, a third-party payment service like Zettle or Square or just take plain old cash money… it's up to you.

Yes. If you want. At Stā Studios we firmly believe in the value of the creative and the respect shown for your work. This stance is reflected in our insistence that we offer a proper deposit mechanism that is automated within the online booking system. No more manually taking deposits, no more awkward conversations and no more long card numbers. Unfortunately no-shows and phantom bookings have always existed in the beauty industry, but Stā Studios believes in equipping its members with adequate protection against this. Don't worry, if you don't want to use this feature, you don't have to, but we think you should be offered the choices.

Easy, give us a month and that's it. We've all joined a gym and tried to cancel it. Canceling should be as simple as joining.

Whatever works for you. We make sure you've got the basics for all things hair but the rest is your choice. You're free to use and bring the product you like, the Technical Store is available if you need choices for anything else.

No colour, no stock, no problem. Run out of something you need or hate paying retail prices at wholesalers? Stā Studios has a technical store that sells materials you need at its trade price. We get shopping for stock is dead time for you and can be expensive if you're an independent creative, so no retail prices, no fear of running out of colour and no 20kg kit bag.

No. We’re passionate about supporting creatives at every stage of their career. Established with a column of regular clients or dipping your toe in the freelance pool, we’re here for you. Our Stā Add-Ons have been designed to support the growth and capability of all creatives. Need an assistant for the day? Looking for a colourist, stylist or extensions specialist to support your work? Want to go on holiday or have someone manage your diary? We’ve got you covered. In a word, yes. As with all freelance artists, you should organize your own public liability insurance. But don’t worry, it’s not as complicated as it seems and we can point you in the direction of providers.
